The view through the window of Kaffee Weitzer is just too tempting: a showcase of
home-made desserts and a relaxed atmosphere – pure coffeehouse. And before you know it,
you’re sat having a splendid breakfast, lunch, or just coffee and cake in one of the
last originals of the Austrian coffeehouse culture. With the choice of
a newspaper or free WiFi.

In Kaffee Weitzer the tradition of the great Austrian coffeehouses is upheld in Graz too. But we wouldn’t be the Weitzer if we didn’t take our own approach to the coffeehouse as well. With free WiFi for example. Or our own unique Hüferschwanz‑Semmerl. But we’ll come back to that later.
Where time stands still. For a moment, at least.
No annoying background music, no hectic rush, no stress. Because our guests want to enjoy their kleiner Brauner (* an espresso with milk), their Melange (espresso topped with steamed milk and milk foam), or their Turkish coffee in peace and quiet. And those aren’t even all our coffee classics. Or you can leaf through local and international newspapers, play a friendly game of chess or have a chat with those around you. Whatever you like to do when you’re treating yourself to a little break.

Kaffee Weitzer opens its doors from Mondays to Fridays at 7:30 am, and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays at 9:00 am onwards. The menu really is a treasure map! We’d like to highlight briefly the Apfelstrudel and Topfenstrudel (curd cheese strudel) from the many home-made desserts, all baked in a special Reindl dish.
And from the heartier dishes, the Fiakergulasch and the Hüferschwanz-Semmerl. Like an explanation? A slice of boiled Austrian beef, freshly grated horseradish and a little mustard in a crispy bread roll – enough to make your mouth water.
Breakfast to your heart’s content. From morning till midday.
Whatever breakfasst your heart desires – it is served until midday. From a Grazer breakfast to one from Vienna or the coffeehouse breakfast. In other words: Good morning!

Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays 9 am to 7 pm
